He had a dislocated hip which was genetic so there may be distant relatives with the same genes still living in the area. I am trying to determine id there are any of my relatives still living
in Kempt or close by. My grandfather on my mother's side was Fred
Raynard. He eventually found his way to Massachusetts in the early
1900s. He married Lena Jeffery from Kempville. I think her
father was Frank Jeffery who was a farmer. Also, I am related to
the Gates family in Kemptville. I last visited there in 1952 when
I was 12 years old. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone
who has heard of any of the people that I have mentioned.

My great grandparents house is 0082 on the Bellville page.When I was there,it had just been sold to a lobster fisherman as the last family survivor had entered a nursing home. My father spent every summer in this house. Even as an infant,he was put in the care of a ship captain to be delivered to the relatives in Bellville. The family is buried across the street from Ste Anne's Church. BABIN is on the headstone. My name underwent a change from Nova Scotia to the USA. Some how an "e" was added to the end and nobody can tell knows why. Even on my great granparents street are mailboxes with both versions of the name. to left near the bridgeos coming up the hill towards shore grocery. i attended
port maitland elementary and eventually hebron public when we moved to
darlings lake.Mary and drousy with the windmill were my neighbours and
my parents were married at the churchill mansion right on darlings lake.
i love port maitland and one day will come back to buy one of those run
down ghost houses i used to always stare at on my long school bus rides
