Broad Brook
Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada
On July 4th I trew several white stones into the water.  They sank to the bottom and were clearly visible.  No turbulence  of bottom sediment occurred. On Aug. 10th I went to the same spot, ( notice culvert and grass bottom left ) the white stone were not visible and when I threw rocks in this time the bottom became muddy.  Stones are barely visible on top right of picture.
This is obviously not serious enough to halt the construction project, nor would I want it to, and it may not have happened if the site had not been shut down for over a month: however, it is hoped that the construction engineers will do their best to minimize the effect on this water system.
