Yarmouth Man new commander


Colonel A.J. Crosby a native of lake Annis, Yarmouth county has been appointed commander of No.1  Air reserve wing CFB Montreal ,at St. Hubert Que.

The appointment was announced by chief of Defense staff. Admiral RAH. FALLS.

Prior to his appointment Col. Crosby was commanding officer  401 air reserve squadron and later chief operations officer at the wing. His new oppointment makes him responsible for two flying squadrons whose job is to support the land forces of mobile command.

He is a graduate of Acadia university and Nova Scotia Technical Collage and is emplyoed by Air Canada as a DC 9 flying instructor and supervisory pilot in Montreal.

Died in 1988.
