History: Guides of Yarmouth Earl Smith

EARL SMITH
He started guiding fifty-five years ago. He guided in Birchdale and Braemar for bird and deer hunting. He worked for Selwyn Ring for a few years. Most of the hunters he-guided were from the United States mainly from Massachusetts to West Virginia. He usually remained in the woods from two to four weeks at a time. He also guided fishermen. He also make dinners and cleaned up after meals. His pay would be five dollars a day.
